Job summary

MetalTek International is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to drive process development for centrifugal casting, from melt prep to solidification control. You will collaborate with customers, translate requirements, and lead efforts to improve alloy performance and part quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in metallurgical engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years foundry or casting experience; centrifugal casting expertise and AOD experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of stainless steel, nickel, cobalt, and/or copper-based alloys.
  • Experience with heat treatment, microstructure analysis, and mechanical testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across departments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with customers on technical matters.
