The Middlesex Corporation, a national leader in heavy civil construction, is seeking an Engineer Intern to assist in daily construction, coordination, and administrative tasks to support project operations. You will help manage submittals, track project data, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and support cost management under supervision of the Project Manager and Project Engineer.

Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering or related field; strong communication, MS Office proficiency;

• Provide support to the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent as required.
• Receive, log, and file project correspondence and shop drawings.
• Record daily project work quantities in control documents.
• Assist with material deliveries and lead in coding materials, labor, and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors regarding schedules, billing, and back charges.
• Draft routine correspondence as requested by the Project Manager.
• Review and code delivery slips and purchase orders.
• Support the Project Manager/Project Engineer with all aspects of project cost management.

Position Summary:

The Engineer Intern assists in daily construction, coordination, and administrative tasks to support project operations. This includes managing submittals, tracking project data, and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
