The Roads and Highways Practice is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to join our Inland Northwest team in Tri-Cities, WA; Spokane, WA; Coeur d'Alene, ID; Pocatello, ID; or Boise, ID.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers, designers, and project managers to develop practical solutions for roadway and multimodal transportation projects throughout Idaho and Eastern Washington. You will gain hands-on experience with transportation design, construction documents, engineering calculations, utility coordination, and construction support while building the technical and professional skills needed to advance your career.
Your assignments may include highways, local roadways, intersections, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, grading, drainage coordination, and utility improvements. You will use OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D to help transform engineering concepts into plans that can be constructed. Depending on project needs, you may also participate in site visits, field observations, and construction inspection.
