Job summary

Jobtailor in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist a Project Manager in developing project plans, specifications and cost estimates. You will help compare design options and assess right-of-way, zoning and permitting needs.

You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office to prepare engineering documents, write technical reports, and supervise technicians. A BS in Civil or Agricultural Engineering and 3–4 years of civil design experience are required, with Tennessee EI/EIT or

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil or agricultural engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• 3–4 years' experience in civil design - site, commercial and/or residential design.
• Tennessee EI/EIT or ability to achieve by reciprocity.
• Experience with middle Tennessee jurisdiction entitlement and zoning along with permitting processes and procedures.
• Previous preparation of TDEC NOI permit applications and SWPPPs.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
