Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Texas is seeking a civil engineer to support planning, design, and analysis of engineering projects under a licensed PE. The role involves working with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.

You will prepare calculations, deliverables, and cost estimates, document design decisions, mentor junior staff, and contribute to quality control. Occasional field visits and coordination with agencies are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT/EI) certification.
• Working knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and applicable codes.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work primarily in an office with periodic field work.

Job Description:OverviewThis position supports the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of engineering projects under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) and may provide technical guidance to junior staff.
