Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a software engineer to join the global TechOps CICD Software Delivery Automation team. You will design, build, and optimize CI/CD workflows that power software delivery for millions of customers worldwide.

This role focuses on CI/CD pipeline reliability, developer experience, and automation at enterprise scale. We need a candidate with strong DevOps background, MacOS CI/CD expertise, and experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus cloud knowledge

Qualifications

• MacOS administration and troubleshooting of MacOS-based hosts and CI/CD dependencies (Swift, Xcode, MacOS package management).
• Strong coding abilities in an OOP language (Python, Java, Groovy, or Go).
• 8-12 years of DevOps experience with focus on software development.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar in enterprise.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes, container orchestration.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure services and patterns.
• Advanced Git workflows and branching strategies (Bitbucket, Gitlab).
• Experience with AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

About the Role:

We are looking for a software engineer to join CrowdStrike's global TechOps CICD Software Delivery Automation (SDA) team. You will collaborate with a high-performing, cross-functional team to design, build, and optimize CI/CD workflows that power software delivery for millions of customers worldwide. This role focuses on CI/CD pipeline reliability, developer experience, and automation at enterprise scale.

What You'll Do:

• Design & Build: Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions for MacOS applications using modern DevOps toolchains

• Developer Experience: Create MacOS application self-service tools and frameworks within the CI/CD space that reduce developer toil and accelerate delivery cycles

• Reliability Engineering: Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for our owned services

• Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices and provide technical guidance through pipeline creation and optimization.

What You'll Need:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

• MacOS: Experience administering and troubleshooting MacOS based hosts and CICD dependencies, including but not limited to Swift, X Code, and MacOS native package management

• Programming Skills: Strong coding abilities using an OOP language (i.e. Python, Java, Groovy, or GO)

• 8-12 years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on software development.

• CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms within an enterprise environment.

• Containerization: Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

• Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure services and architecture patterns

• Version Control: SCM experience including advanced Git workflows and branching strategies (Bitbucket, Gitlab)

• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points:

• Configuration management experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)

• Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Logscale)

• Experience with GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD, Flux)

• Experience with IaC solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
