Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and Build scalable CI/CD pipelines and IaC for MacOS applications. You will partner with engineering teams to automate delivery and ensure reliability across distributed services.

The role requires 8–12 years of DevOps experience, strong coding in OOP languages, and hands-on expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on software development.
• Must have hands-on CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions in an enterprise environment.
• Experience administering MacOS hosts and CI/CD dependencies including Swift, Xcode, and MacOS package management.
• Strong coding abilities using an OOP language (Python, Java, Groovy, or Go).
• Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure services and architecture patterns.
• SCM experience including advanced Git workflows and branching strategies (Bitbucket, Gitlab).
• Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

About The Role

What You'll Do

• Design & Build: Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions for MacOS applications using modern DevOps toolchains
• Developer Experience: Create MacOS application self-service tools and frameworks within the CI/CD space that reduce developer toil and accelerate delivery cycles
• Reliability Engineering: Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for our owned services
• Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices and provide technical guidance through pipeline creation and optimization.

What You'll Need

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
• MacOS: Experience administering and troubleshooting MacOS based hosts and CICD dependencies, including but not limited to Swift, X Code, and MacOS native package management
• Programming Skills: Strong coding abilities using an OOP language (i.e. Python, Java, Groovy, or GO)
• 8-12 years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on software development.
• CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms within an enterprise environment.
• Containerization: Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure services and architecture patterns
• Version Control: SCM experience including advanced Git workflows and branching strategies (Bitbucket, Gitlab)
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points

• Configuration management experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
• Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Logscale)
• Experience with GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Experience with IaC solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
