Job summary

Signia by Hilton Atlanta is seeking an Engineer II to join the hotel’s engineering team. You will maintain property systems, ensure safety and comfort for guests, and contribute to a welcoming, well-run stay.

Responsibilities include maintaining facilities, handling maintenance tasks across trades, and documenting activities to support smooth operations. You will play a key role in delivering a safe, high-quality hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and facilities operations.
• Ability to perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Comfort working with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel facilities and ensure safety and functionality of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Respond to service requests and guest calls in a timely manner.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document findings.
• Document maintenance activities and flag issues requiring further attention.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections: Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
