Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to ensure guest areas and facilities function safely and reliably. You will respond to service calls within 30 minutes, diagnose defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, and coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters, and night engineers to complete repairs, alterations, and installations.

Adherence to local codes and internal procedures is required, with documentation on the departmental work order form for timely completion

Qualifications

• Experience with general building maintenance and service calls.
• Ability to diagnose defects and troubleshoot malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all service calls within half hour from time call is received.
• Determine defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, take immediate corrective action if guest related or scheduled for completion within 2 days and record on the departmental work order form.
• Follow specific departmental procedures in efficiently performing repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work.
• Comply with the latest local, county, state and federal governmental codes, laws and requirements.
• Coordinate with other department personnel such as electrician, carpenter, painter and night engineer in completing service, replacement, alteration and new installation work.
