Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an Engineer II to join the Heavy Civil project team in the DFW area. This role supports procurement, cost estimation, plans updates, and submittals while ensuring safety standards on large-scale civil work.

Requires a Civil Engineering-related degree (or equivalent experience) and 2–7 years of heavy civil aviation project experience; strong communication and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2–7 years of experience in large-scale heavy civil aviation construction projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in bridge and concrete construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction practices, techniques, and safety standards.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks.

Austin Bridge & Road has an outstanding opportunity available for an Engineer II to join our Heavy Civil project team in DFW area. This role, on the Project Manager career track, supports key engineering functions, including procurement and expediting of construction materials, while driving excellence in heavy civil construction.

• Experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery
