Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT/EI) certification.
  • At least 1 year of relevant civil or land development engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of civil engineering design principles, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare civil site development plans for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, including grading, drainage, paving, utilities, and site layout.
  • Perform grading, earthwork, drainage, and stormwater management analyses and prepare supporting calculations.
  • Develop construction documents, technical reports, exhibits, and other deliverables from concept through permitting and construction.
  • Support zoning, entitlement, and permitting efforts by preparing technical documentation and coordinating with reviewing agencies.
  • Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, and other disciplines to develop practical, constructible solutions.
  • Work with regulatory agencies and project stakeholders to address comments, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward.
