Candidates for this position should possess a strong technical background with the desire to be a change agent and have the energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity. **JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:**-Support project teams on the successful commercialization and start-up of new equipment and processes.-Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements-Interface with design, product engineering, supply chain, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability and process capability of new products or product extensions.-Provide informed recommendations regarding the viability of developed design solutions that relate to new or current processes.-Participate/facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizens, and Process System Design events.-Demonstrate strong knowledge of DMAIC tools: Process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Control Plans.-Develop specifications to procure production equipment and/or complete production lines.-Partner with the Safety group to ensure all new or modified processes meet or exceed corporate safety requirements.-Create training tools, documents and standard operating procedures for production processes ensuring consistent manufacturability.-Introduce new perspectives on existing solutions to continuously improve production and material flow processes.-Work independently within areas of responsibility on small projects or in coordination with others over portions of larger projects.**QUALIFICATIONS:**-4-year degree in Engineering or Technology required-Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience preferred with mechanical aptitude-Equipment procurement and capital project experience required-Project management skills-Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles-Knowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capability-Positive attitude with a desire to build relationships and serve both our internal and external customers-Strong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groups-Knowledge of 2D & 3D solid modeling preferred (AutoCad/Inventor)**\*This is a hybrid role with approximately 25% travel.****\*\*This role is available in either Cottage Grove, Minnesota or Locust Grove, Georgia.****VISA SPONSORSHIP**: At this time, we are not sponsoring candidates for work authorization in this position.
