Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking Structural Engineers with 0-4 years of experience to work with a Project Manager on a Boston-based team. The role involves performing structural calculations, developing design plans and cost estimates, and performing field assessments of existing structures. The position is located out of the Boston, MA office with a hybrid-friendly environment.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural focus and may have an EIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration.
• EIT is preferred but not required.
• AutoCAD, REVIT and/or Microstation computer skills; experience with structural software is a plus.

Weston & Sampson is currently looking for Structural Engineers with 0 - 4 years of experience with a passion for working on projects, designing buildings and bridge structures. The candidates will be required to work closely with a Project Manager to complete assignments. And will be an active participant on a project team to complete specific projects and serve clients. This position is located out of our Boston, MA office.

Salary Range: $72,000 - $78,000 based on education

What you'll do:

• Perform structural calculations
• Develop design plans, specifications and cost estimates; and other support services as needed
• Perform field assessments of existing structures
• Assist with construction administration and observation of a variety of structural projects
• Perform structural related tasks for other internal disciplines or groups as well as our external client base

What you will bring:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration

• Strong written and verbal communication and technical skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
