Job summary

Rosendin Electric is hiring an Engineer I in Hillsboro, OR to support the Engineering Team Lead with design and analysis tasks. This entry-level role provides exposure to electrical design standards and internal/external customer collaboration on high-profile projects.

You will learn to use engineering analytic tools (short-circuit, coordination, arc flash) and Autodesk/Microsoft Office in a fast-paced environment under senior guidance. Travel is limited and growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to learn and use engineering analytic programs for short circuits, coordination, and arc-flash mitigation.
• Willingness to collaborate with design teams and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical design and consultation under supervision.
• Review submittals for equipment and systems.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical trades on projects.
• Visit job sites for field observations and data collection.
• Support senior engineers with design interpretations and updates.
