AARP is seeking an Engineer I to join the Information Technology Services team in Washington, DC. You will write code in Python and SQL, maintain repositories, and help deliver platform solutions within an Agile environment.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of Python/SQL development, plus familiarity with data management, cloud-native tech, APIs, and Git-based collaboration. This role supports telework and on-site work as needed.

A variety of technologies and practices are used including cloud computing, automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning within highly collaborative Agile teams. The Engineer I is a technical resource on a platform/capability team responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day design, implementation, and operational activities of the team.
