As an Engineer I, you are responsible for designing, building, evaluating and implementing critical components of the enterprise data platform to support Western Alliance Bank's strategic data and analytics objectives. This role requires strong data management, cloud data engineering, and technology expertise to develop a cross‑business‑unit data layer that improves products and delivers meaningful insights. The ideal candidate brings strong technical experience, an engineering mindset, effective critical thinking skills, an outcome‑focused approach, and a collaborative, team‑first attitude. You should be prepared to learn and apply modern automation and integration methods, cloud‑first design patterns, frameworks, critical thinking, and problem‑solving techniques.
