Job summary

Exyte seeks an Electrical Engineer to design Instrumentation & Control systems for industrial projects, including semiconductor and pharmaceutical plants. The role is part of the Engineering Department and involves working on P&ID drawings and specifying instrumentation and control equipment.

You will bring at least 3 years in I&C design, be able to read technical specifications, and have strong English skills. Field infrastructure experience is a plus, with opportunities in Buffalo, NY area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years in instrumentation and control system design.
• Read and interpret P&ID drawings.
• Read and understand technical specifications.
• Experience selecting instruments based on process flow diagrams and mechanical requirements.
• Understanding of control system topologies and communication protocols.
• Experience in field infrastructure design.
• Engineering support and supervision of installations.
• Knowledge of writing Functional Design Specifications or control narratives is an advantage.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or pharmaceutical plants is an advantage.
• High level of English proficiency.
