Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Park City is seeking an Engineer to join the Engineering Team. This role focuses on maintaining hotel facilities, ensuring safety, and delivering reliable service to guests across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

You will respond to service requests, perform diverse maintenance tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, masonry), and conduct preventive inspections. The position offers opportunities within a renowned hospitality brand and a dynamic mountain

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections: Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention

With 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, this award-winning Forbes 4-Star boutique property offers elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions from around the world. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, seasonal pool restaurant, and in-room dining.

Schedule: Mostly PM shifts from 3PM. Availability to work weekends and holidays required.
