Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking a Senior Engineer to support operations at the Clean Energy Center (CEC). The candidate will leverage their engineering skills to solve advanced technical problems, manage engineering tasks, and ensure compliance with industry codes. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a nuclear environment is required.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $122,400 to $154,000 along with beneficial perks such as a bonus program, 401(k) matching, and comprehensive health benefits.

Expected salary range

Sr Level - $122,400- $154,000

Primary Purpose of Position

Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of Clean Energy Center (CEC) operations. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses strong knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities
  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
  • Provide complete task management of engineering issues.
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.
  • Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of regulatory/technical projects and programs.
  • Recommend new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify operations, reduce costs or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Design Engineering Qualifications (DG01, DG03)
  • Qualified Nuclear Engineer (QNE) Qualification or SRO Certification, desired
