About Blue Origin

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

Role Overview

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

As part of a high-performing team of engineers, specialists, and technicians, we are seeking a Senior Fluids Engineer with expertise in fluid dynamics to develop advanced fluid management technologies for waste management applications in space. This role focuses on the research, design, analysis, and validation of two-phase fluid separation systems , advancing the understanding of complex liquid-gas flow behavior across multiple flow regimes in microgravity , and developing innovative fluid system solutions for space vehicles.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in fluid dynamics, two-phase flow, thermal-fluid systems, and engineering analysis, with the ability to translate complex physics into practical hardware designs. Success in this role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary engineering teams, a hands-on approach to testing and validation, and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance fluid systems.

This position offers the opportunity to directly contribute to the future of human space exploration by developing technologies that enable safe, reliable, and repeatable missions supporting humanity's return to the Moon.
