AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER in New Albany, OH seeks a Sr Engineer (P&C Standards) to review and advance protection & control design standards. You will develop new PCE standards, maintain the standards portfolio, and ensure designs comply with established technical requirements.

You will support automation tools to boost efficiency and consistency, provide technical guidance to P&C Production and TFS teams, and create or revise SS guides and documentation to promote high-quality, standardized design

The role also performs additional duties as assigned.**Job Description** **What You'll Do:** * Review and support Protection & Control (P&C) designs, including the development of new PCE standard designs and maintenance of the existing standards portfolio* Review station equipment and circuit designs to verify compliance with PCE standards and ensure technical accuracy* Leverage and support the development of automation tools and processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability in P&C design development* Provide technical guidance and support to P&C Production and TFS for design-related activities and issue resolution* Develop, maintain, and review SS guides and other PCE standards documentation to support consistent and high-quality design implementation* Perform other duties as assigned. Note:This position is posted in a range; Pay, title and grade will be based on the qualifications of the individual select. **What we're looking for:****Education and Work Experience requirements listed below:****Engineer(Grade 7)**Has typically acquired a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET\\* along with two or more years of related engineering experience.
