Job summary

John Deere in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Hydraulic/Hydrostat Design Engineer to improve hydraulic and hydrostat components for crawler dozers and loaders, based in Dubuque, IA.

You will lead cost, reliability and quality improvements, implement design changes, perform warranty/root-cause analysis, and collaborate with assembly, suppliers and customer support. A Bachelor's in Mechanical Eng is required.

Your Responsibilities

As an Hydraulic/Hydrostat Design Engineer for the John Deere Construction & Forestry division, located in Dubuque, IA, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of hydraulic and hydrostatic components and system designs for Crawler Dozers and Crawler Loaders, including, but not limited to:

• Lead projects to improve cost, reliability and quality


• Implement & document design changes


• Perform warranty claim and root cause analysis


• Assist the assembly line and customer support in troubleshooting issues


• Work with suppliers, supporting the development of new or improved components.

What Skills You Need
