Job summary

Integris is seeking a Senior Engineer, Cloud Services to act as the technical expert within the Cloud Services Team. You will own major cloud-based projects, guide others, and collaborate with Architects on scalable, secure cloud designs for private and public environments.

You will lead troubleshooting, mentor engineers, and work with Project Services during onboarding to ensure a positive customer experience while maintaining standardized deployments and policy-driven configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• One or more cloud platform certifications (VMware, Azure, Nutanix).
• Current CCNA or comparable enterprise network certification.
• 5+ years managing private cloud environments and 5+ years with Cisco or equivalent networks.
• 5+ years’ experience with VMware vSphere and storage technologies (SAN/NAS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Architects on scalable, secure cloud designs for private/public clouds.
• Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex cloud issues including networking, security, storage, performance.
• Mentor Cloud Services Engineers and Administrators on best practices and problem solving.
• Collaborate with Project Services during onboarding to ensure positive customer experience.
• Provide standardized customer deployments using approved policies and processes.
• Perform or direct Cloud Services maintenance as required.
• Recommend changes to infrastructure policy and customer environment configurations.
• Create/maintain automated deployment processes and related documentation.

Job Summary

The Senior Engineer, Cloud Services acts as the technical expert within the Cloud Services Team, responsible for operations, infrastructure improvements and supporting the architectural goals. They are expected to take ownership of major cloud-based projects and guide others in the team.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Architects on the private and public cloud designs to ensure they are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient
• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex private and public cloud issues, including networking, security, storage and performance concerns
• Serve as a technical mentor to Cloud Services Engineers and Administrators, providing guidance on best practices and technical problem solving
• Collaborate with Project Services during customer onboarding to ensure a positive customer experience
• Use approved policy and process guidance to provide standardized customer deployments
• Perform or direct Cloud Services maintenance as required
• Recommend changes to Cloud Services infrastructure policy and guidance
• Recommend changes to the configuration and optimization of customer environments
• Create and use automated processes to ensure standardized customer deployments
• Provide technical communications and documentation related to Cloud Services configuration and changes

Job Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• One or more relevant cloud platform certifications
  • VMWare Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization
  • Azure Administrator Associate Certification
  • Nutanix Certified Professional
• Current CCNA certification, or comparable enterprise network platform certification

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience managing private cloud environments
• Experience designing, deploying, maintaining private cloud infrastructure at scale
• 5+ years practical experience with Cisco, or comparable enterprise network solutions
• 5+ years’ experience with VMWare vSphere or comparable platforms
• 5+ years’ experience with SAN, NAS, or object storage
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or equivalent platform
• Experience with Storage Virtualization
• Practical PowerShell scripting experience
