Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is looking for a day shift, full-time Maintenance Engineer Assistant. You will maintain equipment and support building systems to ensure reliable facility operations.

The role requires hands-on skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and readiness to work with other maintenance tasks as needed. A valid driver’s license and basic trade training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid OK Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all equipment as required per preventative maintenance programs prescribed by manufacturer’s specifications.
• Document and report activities to supervisor.
• Respond to emergency situations (fire, flood, equipment failures, etc.).
• Be able and willing to help with other aspects of building maintenance as required.
• Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, and HVAC.
• May be the only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts and may work overtime or on-call duties.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all equipment as required per preventative maintenance programs prescribed by manufacturer’s specifications.
• Document and report activities to supervisor.
• Respond to emergency situations (fire, flood, equipment failures, etc.)
• Be able and willing to help with other aspects of building maintenance as required. (Unstopping toilets, changing light bulbs etc. as needed)
• Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to including but not limited to plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, and HVAC.
• May be only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require shift work and/or on call duties.
• All other duties as assigned.
