Copeland in remote India is seeking an engineer to drive New Product Qualification for OEM/SSI OEM customers, perform heat-load calculations, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Customers for samples and qualification. You will address field issues, participate in product development discussions, and support collateral creation and promotions.

• Ability to calculate heat load and propose system components.
• Experience in post-sales support and field issue resolution.
• Familiarity with marketing, sales and engineering collaboration.
• Knowledge of cold chain, HVACR products and market trends.

Responsabilidades

• Lead New Product Qualification for OEM/SSI OEM customers.
• Share technical documentation and discuss test plans and samples.
• Coordinate with sales for samples and delivery to customers.
• Manage sample evaluation/qualification with customers.
• Address pilot production and post-field testing issues.
• Gather inputs for heat load calculations and prepare reports.
• Select system components like condensing unit and expansion valve.
• Support sales to craft optimum offers and convert enquiries.
• Provide post-sales support for installation and commissioning.
• Study market trends and prepare monthly product development inputs.
• Identify opportunities for new technologies and product offerings.
• Discuss annual plans with Sales/Marketing/Prospective customers.
• Execute plans and build value stories to drive business.
• Update customer issues in Oracle Service Portal and coordinate resolution.
• Coordinate with plant/engineering/customers for action plans and CAPA.
• Support collateral preparation and product promotion activities.
• Engage in local industry forums for product promotion.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Qualification – OEM/SSI OEM

• NBO’s Of Cold Chain & Flow For North & East India OEM /SSI OEM’s Customer

• Share technical documentation required by customer

• Discussion of test plan & samples

• Coordinate with sales for samples & delivery

• Coordinate with Customer for sample evaluation / qualification

• Address pilot production & post field testing issues

Support To Cold Chain Contractors

• Get inputs from Sales / Team / Customer for heat load calculations

• Calculate the heat load based on input received on application & share report

• Selection of system components like condensing unit / expansion valve etc

• Support Sales To Work Out an Optimum Offer & Enquiry conversion

• Post Sales support customer for installation / commissioning

Application Development

• Study of Cold Chain Market technical / Product Development Trends & Prepare Monthly report

• Identify Need For New Product Development & prepare inputs to Mktg / Engg

• Identification of opportunity for promoting New technologies / product offering

• Discuss With Sales / Mktg / Prospective Customers to prepare a annual plan

• Execute plan , build value story & convert to Business

Handling Customer Issues, Coordination between Plant / Quality & Customer to share inputs / Resolve Line / Field Issues

• Up dation of customer issues in oracle service portal

• Discussion / visit to customer to understand the issue

• Share inputs to customer for resolution after talking to plant / engineering

• If needed arrange compressor for tear down & share findings

• Coordinate with plan / engineering / customer to plan action for resolution

• Coordinate with plant if any mfg related issues reported & arrange for CAPA

• Support Collateral Preparation with Marketing / Sales

• Support Channel Partners For Collateral Preparation & Product Promotion Activities Like Training , Seminars etc

• Participate & product promotion in local ISHRAE/ Cold Chain / other industry forums
