Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Engineer Aeronautical - System Test to support system test activities. Responsibilities include test planning, procedure creation, post-test data analysis, and reporting on test results as part of the System Test Team.

Candidates should hold a STEM degree (B.S./M.S./Ph.D.) with related experience, and must be able to obtain/maintain US government security clearances (Secret/Top Secret/SAP).

Qualifications

  • Must have a STEM degree (B.S./M.S./Ph.D.) with related professional/military experience as applicable.
  • Experience in developing system test procedures from system level requirements.
  • Experience generating technical documents and working with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and other tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development, execution and peer review of test procedures.
  • Participate in formal and non-formal test events and planning.
  • Analyze post-test data and report results; support problem reports and releases for PCM/SRM.

This role is located in Melbourne, FLIn this role, the successful candidate will provide support for all system test activities, to include test planning, creation of required test procedures, post test data analysis, creation of problem reports, and reporting on test results. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.Basic Qualifications:Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 1 year of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experienceMust have an active US Government Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needsMust have experience generating technical documents and working with various software/data processing tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other various programming languagesMust have an understanding of common Test Engineering test methodologies and practicesMust have experience Developing System Test Procedures from System Level RequirementsMust have the ability and willingness to support multiple shifts and odd hours to accommodate testing efforts and lab schedules.Preferred Qualifications:Master of Science and/or PhD Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) disciplineSoftware test automation experienceCurrent, active Top Secret ClearancePrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
