Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for infrastructure projects in Houston. You will assist senior engineers, perform calculations, and support project execution.

Responsibilities include design analysis, preparing drawings and specs, electrical calculations, and site visits. A Bachelor’s degree and up to 2 years of experience are required, with NEC knowledge and software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, internships or co-op experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical power systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM) is a plus.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
