Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Naples, Florida, is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to service and repair building systems across guest rooms and public areas. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests, and assist with renovations and energy conservation efforts, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 3 months to 1 year of related experience, with strong English reading/writing and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 3 months to 1 year of related maintenance experience.
• Technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
• On-the-job learning or professional certifications acceptable.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and log updates.
• Repair equipment including motors, starters, breakers, and chillers.
• Follow company work rules and safety standards (EmPact).
• Work harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors.
• Respond to guest service calls regarding room and public-area maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies like fires or power failures promptly.
• Clean and organize Engineering stations, grease traps, and plumbing.
• Install or relocate equipment as needed for renovations or exhibits.
• Assist energy conservation programs and system installations.

What you will do

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and updateappropriate logs.
• Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers,chillersand associated equipment throughout the entire building.
• Comply withFour Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct asset forth inEmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Respond to guest callsregardingmaintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areain a timely manner.
• Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
• Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages andmaintainan organized department and hotel.
• Install orrelocateanyadditionalequipment or existing equipment when necessary.
• Assistwith energy conservation programs in the hotel.
• Assistin the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.

What you bring

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Experience required by position is from three months to one full year of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organizations.
• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Working knowledge isgenerally learnedon-the-Job or through a series of professional certifications.
• Requires knowledge of the ability tooperatecomputer equipment.
• Ability to read and speak and write English.
