Job summary

LT Technology Services LTD seeks an onsite PCIS Engineer (Instrumentation and Control) to design and deliver engineering packages for power and instrumentation in industrial plants. Role requires coordinating with customers, offshore teams and vendors to ensure timely Deliverables and design approvals.

Responsibilities include design reviews, construction support, and leading electrical startup of process and packaging equipment. NEC compliance and NFPA70E training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience developing engineering design packages for industrial plants.
• Ability to specify process plant instruments and select instrumentation.
• Design and selection of controls and hardware for process instrumentation.
• Instrument setup, calibration, verification and adjustments.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems for industrial networks.
• Electrical distribution design for process plants per NEC.
• Familiarity with machine safety wiring (CAT 3) and UL508A.
• Experience with MCCs, VFDs, troubleshooting and electrical schematics.
• Experience with system commissioning and validation is a plus.
• Trained in NFPA70E requirements.

• Work as an onsite PCIS Engineer (Controls and Instrumentation Engineer) in a process plant environment base in Inwood WV.
• Deliver designs and Engineering packages related to power and instrumentation installation for industrial plants.
• Define the scope of work discussing with customer, coordinate with the offshore team and deliver the Engineering Deliverables.
• Coordinate with Customer to collect all the required inputs to complete the Engineering Design.
• Coordinate with vendors and construction team to get the required information for completing the design.
• Attend design reviews along with customer and the construction team and get the necessary approvals.
• Support in construction and start up activities.
• Lead electrical startup of all process and packing equipment.

Skills Required:

• Should have worked as an Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer developing engineering design packages for industrial plants.
• Should have Knowledge in specifying process plant instruments and hands on experience in selection of instrumentation.
• Selection and design of controls and hardware for control and monitoring process plant instrumentation.
• Instrumentation knowledge and experience – set-up, calibration verification, adjustments, etc.
• Fisher Valves, Micro Motion Flowmeters, Rosemount transmitters, E+H Flowmeters and Transmitter, Rockwell control and communication system and Allen Bradly VFDs
• Prepare Instrument Datasheets, IO Lists, Instrument List, Wiring Diagrams and Engineering Information.
• Knowledge in PLC and SCADA systems for industrial networks.
• Experienced in LV Electrical Distribution Design Power Distribution Panels, Motor Control Centers for process plants in compliance with NEC.
• Knowledge on Machine Safety – CAT 3 wiring.
• Knowledge on control panel design as per UL508A.
• Previous experience with MCC’s, VFD’s, electrical troubleshooting, electrical schematics
• Previous work experience in system commissioning and validation would be a plus.
• Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements.
