Job summary

Trailborn Jackson Hole is seeking a Lead Evening Maintenance Engineer to oversee general maintenance and repairs of hotel facilities and systems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling, and related building services.

The position requires hands-on experience and leadership, with the ability to work under minimal supervision as part of a team. This is a full-time on-site role in Jackson, WY, with flexible evening/weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Hospitality with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• 5+ hands-on years in maintenance trades.
• Advanced understanding of electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing.
• Experience in other trades such as vehicle maintenance or welding is a plus.
• Must read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and safety of all job sites and work areas.
• Complete daily inspections and maintenance on assigned buildings and rooms.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling and other systems.
• Repair door locks to maintain security per standards.
• Inspect A/C filters and determine cleaning or replacement needs.
• Verify accuracy of inspection and preventative maintenance records.
• All other duties as assigned.

Lead Evening Maintenance Engineer

Full Time Trailborn Jackson Hole, Jackson, WY, US

Salary Range: $28.00 To $32.00 Hourly

ABOUT OUR ROLE

The Resort Lead Evening Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. The Resort Maintenance Technician must work efficiently with minimal supervision and have a willingness to work as a team.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS

• Maintain security and safety of all job sites and work areas for self, fellow workers, staff, guests, and any other person(s)possibly affected during performance of assignments.
• Complete daily inspections and maintenance on assigned buildings and rooms.
• Repairs plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems as directed.
• Repair door locks to maintain building and/or room security per risk management standards.
• Inspects room A/C filters on a regular schedule and determines if cleaning or replacement is warranted.
• Verifies accuracy of records for inspections and preventative maintenance work executed.
• All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license.
• 5+ years of experience in Hospitality, and at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• 5+ hands on years of experience in maintenance trades .
• Advanced understanding of electrical, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
• Experience in any other trades such as vehicle maintenance, welding, machine operation, etc. a plus.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• High level of professionalism, able to follow instructions with follow-up, respect, and integrity.
• Understand oral and written communications, follow detailed directions, and provide clear instructions/directions.
• Basic skills such as attention to detail skills, reasoning s kills, and multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.

PHYSICAL

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb and work from a ladder up to 40 feet from ground level.

SCHEDULE

Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality– on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
