Job summary

Progressive is seeking an engineer to provide engineering services for planning, evaluation, budgeting, procurement, design and construction of large-scale projects. The role also involves evaluating new technologies for potential implementation into company assets.

You will manage technical projects across all phases, conduct engineering investigations and prepare reports, and provide engineering leadership to staff. A Bachelor's in Engineering with 5–10 years of experience is required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 5-10 years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services for planning, evaluation, budgeting, procurement, design and construction of large-scale projects.
• Evaluate new technologies for potential implementation into company assets.
• Provide technical project management across all phases of a project, including scheduling, design, estimating, budgeting, engineering specifications, drawings, materials procurement, construction contracts, cost tracking and project cost projections, and managing multiple contractors on a project site.
• Conduct engineering investigations, studies, or advanced studies with complex investigations to prepare oral and written reports of results and recommendations.
• Provide engineering assistance to other departments, technical input or advanced technical leadership to staff.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
