LiquidPiston Inc. in Suffield, CT, is seeking an Engine Test & Calibration Engineer responsible for testing, calibration, and data analysis of advanced rotary engines. The role involves operating engine test cells and collaborating with engineering teams to optimize performance across various fuels.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and has over 5 years of experience in engine testing. The company offers flexible PTO, comprehensive health benefits, and equity participation.
This role is fully onsite in Bloomfield, CT, five days per week, and the company will be relocating to Suffield, CT later in 2026.
The Engine Test & Calibration Engineer will be a part of the team responsible for testing, calibration, and data analysis for LiquidPiston’s advanced rotary engines. This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role where you will be responsible for the operation of engine test cells from hardware and controls to data quality and calibration development.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to plan and execute test campaigns, develop control strategies, automate data workflows, and optimize engine performance across various fuels and operating conditions.
