Plastipak Packaging, Inc in Keasbey, NJ seeks an Engine Room Technician to execute preventive maintenance on critical utility and production systems. Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining industrial facility and production systems.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and interpret technical documentation.
• Understanding of plumbing, airflow systems, and PLCs.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and continuously improve preventative maintenance plans for critical building and production systems.
• Ensure continuous operation of utility infrastructure including boilers, chillers, air compression systems, and HVAC.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions on production and facility equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate spare parts to minimize downtime.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to support troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain strict compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and operational best practices.
