Job summary

Riggs Cat Power & Energy is hiring Engine Rebuild Technicians at every level for small‑bore and large‑bore engines. You will tear down, inspect, and rebuild industrial engines in a precision shop environment.

Roles span Apprentice to Lead/Master with growth on a single career ladder. Expect fast‑paced line work, safety emphasis, and hands‑on training across both small bore (C7–C32) and large bore (3500/3600) engines.

Qualifications

All levels: teardown, cleaning, parts tagging, kitting and staging, removal of turbo and accessories, supervised measurements.
Independent top‑end and in‑frame overhauls, common rail and MUI fuel R&I, HP fuel pump inspection and turbo service.
Complete major overhauls, failure analysis on comebacks, final QC sign‑off, and training Levels 1–2.
Runs the rebuild line; Lead/Master responsibilities include setting standard work, rework/warranty calls, and coaching junior techs.

Responsibilities

Teardown, cleaning, parts tagging and staging with supervised measurements.
Top‑end and in‑frame overhauls including fuel system service and bearings checks.
Major overhauls and failure analysis; training for Levels 1–2.
Lead/master responsibilities: line ownership, standards, and coaching.
