Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. in Ebensburg, PA is seeking a Gas Engine Assembly Technician to perform mechanical assembly of gas engines for oil & gas applications. Join our service team using the latest tooling and follow documented procedures to ensure safe, defect-free assemblies.

• Heavy equipment machine assembly experience.

• Intermediate proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures or Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly duties with an aptitude in mechanical or electronic disciplines.
• Use a variety of tools in the work area to complete assembly tasks.
• Operate lifting devices and cranes for components over 50 lbs.
• Follow documented procedures and standard work to ensure safe, defect-free assemblies.
• Apply 5S and continuous improvement principles to reduce waste and maintain a clean workspace.
• Be a contributing team member and maintain orderly tools and work area.

Position Summary:

• Requires an assembly, mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of assembly practices
• Use of various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties
• Use of lifting devices and cranes to move components weighing more than 50 lbs
• Follows documented procedures in standard work
• Performs safe and defect free assembly
• Uses principles of 5S, continuous improvement, and standard work to eliminate waste
• Keeps tools and work area clean and orderly
• Contributing team member
