Job summary

CTS Engines in the United States is seeking a Mature Jet Engine Mechanic to repair, remove/install, clean, inspect and replace powerplant components in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data.

This role requires 3–5 years of CF6 engine experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and US work authorization. You will read manuals, keep maintenance records, and uphold safety standards while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English (FAA requirement).
  • 3–5 years of jet engine technician experience, CF6 engines preferred.

Job description

The Mature Jet Engine Mechanic will repair and performs removal/installation, cleaning, inspection, repair as well as replace Power Plant systems components and accessories. All work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, applicable manufacturer maintenance manuals, company directives and other approved data.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Power plant license (preferred, not required.)
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a jet engine technician (specifically CF6 engines) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to read, write and understand English as this is a FAA requirement
Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.
  • As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 "Respirator Protection" regulations with no restrictions that would prevent the proper use and/or seal of the respirator.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
  • Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
  • A valid driver's license required
  • Authorized to work in the US for any employer
