West Broad VW is seeking an Engine Installer / Automotive Technician in Richmond, VA to join a busy Kia dealership’s service team. You’ll remove and install engines, perform tear-downs, and complete timing and cooling system repairs with a focus on quality workmanship.

The role requires strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, ownership of tools, and a valid driver's license. Full-time with potential for growth; confidential interviews available.

Qualifications

• Experience replacing engines or performing major mechanical repairs.
• Kia dealership experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills are required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must own tools and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install gasoline engines and related components.
• Perform engine tear-down and reassembly as needed.
• Complete timing components, cooling system, and related repairs.
• Follow Kia repair procedures and warranty guidelines.
• Maintain clean and accurate repair documentation.
• Collaborate with shop foreman and service team to guarantee quality repairs.
