Job summary

West Broad VW KIA in Richmond, VA is hiring an Engine Installer / Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will remove and install gasoline engines and related components, perform tear-downs, and ensure repairs meet Kia procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience removing and installing engines or performing major mechanical repairs.
• Kia or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills required.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install gasoline engines and related components.
• Perform engine tear-down and reassembly as needed.
• Complete timing components, cooling system, and related repairs.
• Follow Kia repair procedures and warranty guidelines.
• Maintain clean and accurate repair documentation.
• Collaborate with shop foreman and service team to ensure quality repairs.
