Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Calibration Engineer to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI, focusing on engine calibration with proficiency in OBD or emissions development. You will calibrate powertrains to meet North American and global regulations, reporting to the Senior Manager and collaborating across vehicle departments.

Required: Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 1+ years MATLAB/Simulink/C experience, INCA/ETAS familiarity, and a valid motor vehicle record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–8 years of engine calibration experience with OBD or emission development and related regulations.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engine theory.
• 1+ years of MATLAB/Simulink/C or similar programming experience.
• 1+ year experience with INCA and ETAS.
• Motor vehicle record acceptable by company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine calibration and testing to meet North America and global market requirements.
• Develop procedures and tools for testing, data analysis, and calibration.
• Prepare calibration/resource schedules and maintain data reports.
• Collaborate with related vehicle departments to build cross-functional relationships.
