Qualifications

• Proven mechanical aptitude from hands-on fields (auto/aero)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly docs
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ethic
• Good manual dexterity and attention to quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly and disassembly of prototype and production rotary engines
• Inspect and measure machined components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues during engine build processes
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, components, and consumables
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop and lab areas
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and shop infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support design iterations and testing
• Document build procedures, discrepancies, and improvements for continuous process optimization
