Job summary

Funtastic Childcare Center in Norristown, PA, seeks an experienced teacher for our two-year-old classroom. You will connect with individual children and create a happy, engaging environment, helping children feel loved and valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree, Bachelor’s degree, or a CDA preferred, but not required.
• At least 2 years of childcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for the daily personal needs of the children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children
• Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans
• Be an active member of your classroom by engaging and interacting with each child
• Complete assessments and lead parent-teacher conferences as needed
• Maintain daily open communication with parents both verbally and through our app (postings and pictures)
• Log accident and incident reports
• Maintain confidentiality
• Cooperate and collaborate with all coworkers for the best of the children
• Assist with duties that will help to create a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the center as a whole
• Meet all applicable licensing regulations

Education
