Job summary

Southbridge Public Schools is seeking a Day to Day Substitute for grades 6-12 at Southbridge Middle School, Massachusetts. This part-time role requires maintaining a productive classroom, implementing innovative instructional strategies, and supporting diverse learners.

The position reports to Building Principals. Minimum qualifications include an associate’s degree (preferred), eligibility to work in the United States, and MA licensure as required by DESE. Salary is $100 to $130 per day.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred for the role.
• Citizenship, residency, or work VISA in United States required/considered.
• Massachusetts license is valid as required by the DESE; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom environment effectively.
• Utilize innovative instructional strategies and technology to support student learning.
• Collaborate with SPED and ELL specialists to meet student needs.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and records.
• Ensure equal educational opportunities for all students regardless of background.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
