School Professionals is seeking a Long-Term Middle School Substitute Teacher for a Charter School in Fairfield County, CT. The role covers 6th–8th grades with focus areas in Math, ELA, and Science.

Schedule runs Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering consistent instructional support in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have prior substitute or middle school teaching experience, plus strong communication skills and the ability to complete

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience as a substitute teacher or with middle school-aged youth.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide two professional references and complete fingerprint/background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction across Math, ELA, and Science following lesson plans.
• Maintain positive behavior and classroom management for middle school students.
