Job summary

Ivy Park at Escondido is seeking an Activity Coordinator to organize and lead engaging memory care activities. You will help promote resident participation through diverse programs and excursions while upholding the community’s values of care and quality of life.

Responsibilities include supporting the Memory Care Director, ensuring a safe environment, and coordinating events. A valid driver’s license and MS Office skills are required, with a preference for experience with seniors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C license (Class B preferred) to transport residents.
• Able to operate a PC and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing an engaging social atmosphere with seniors.
• Plan, schedule, promote, and facilitate activities and excursions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, staff, and supervisors.
• Drive Community vehicles when needed.
• Foster teamwork across departments and support a safe environment.
