Qualifications

• Knowledge of email, file management, recording and reporting grades electronically, and using Google applications.
• Knowledge and command of grades/subject specific content and learning theory concepts.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate student progress and curriculum.
• Ability to develop, implement and evaluate plans.
• Ability to manage the classroom.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and listen to others.
• Ability to evaluate written materials and tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thorough and complete lesson plans and instruct students according to curriculum and needs.
• Assess student progress and adapt daily lesson plans and activities.
• Prepare teaching materials and records for reporting progress.
• Implement a developmentally appropriate, integrated curriculum.
• Establish a positive learning environment with differentiated instruction.
• Plan, organize and display classroom materials for activities.
• Use classroom management techniques to maintain order and safety.
• Plan instruction and use instructional methods to motivate students.
• Use data to inform program effectiveness and student success.
• Use technology to enhance learning.
• Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.
