Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a qualified Child Care Substitute Teacher to join our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs in the Lehigh Valley. Energetic and dedicated individuals who want to make a lasting difference in children’s lives are encouraged to apply.

As a substitute teacher, you’ll design age-appropriate activities, foster a warm classroom routine, and build strong partnerships with families. You’ll collaborate with co-teachers and school leaders to ensure an exceptional learning

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• Willingness to work at locations in the Lehigh Valley.
• Comfortable working with children 6 weeks old through 12 years old.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Foster a warm and consistent classroom routine that helps children feel secure and confident.
• Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leaders to ensure an exceptional learning experience.

Education

CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education

Experience in licensed childcare center
