Healthy Kids Programs is hiring an Early Childhood Learning Teacher Assistant for our program in Waterloo, NY for the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports hands-on activities, communication with families, and classroom safety under the Creative Curriculum.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, per state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the School-Age Childcare Lead to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum.
• Maintain regular communication with parents via the Playground App to ensure transparency and engagement.
• Foster positive adult-child interactions using the CLASS method to support every child.
• Support education, health, welfare, and safety following ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.
