Job summary

LifeWise Academy invites qualified substitutes to support biblical teaching across LifeWise classes. The role emphasizes active church participation and a strong Christian faith, aligned with our Statement of Faith, to foster a respectful learning environment.

Substitute teachers will complete training, implement LifeWise lesson plans, maintain a safe classroom, and communicate with teachers and volunteers.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church aligning with LifeWise beliefs

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum and lesson plans provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom per LifeWise policies
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher
• Keep the classroom clean, orderly and ready for each session
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and coordinate with the teacher
