Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.

Responsibilities

• Manage instructional time by ensuring materials and pacing are ready for each lesson.
• Maintain student behavior with established rules and procedures.
• Present instruction clearly with appropriate explanations and demonstrations.
• Monitor student performance through class work, discussions, and products.
• Provide timely feedback on in-class and out-of-class work.
• Plan and align objectives, instruction, and assessments with school goals.
• Interact with students, colleagues, parents, and the community in a fair, respectful manner.
