Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Maris Grove community in Glen Mills, PA, is seeking an Activities Associate to co-lead engaging, person-centered programs for Intermission participants. The role involves designing and delivering creative activities, guiding residents through events, and supporting mealtime preparations within a dementia‑care environment.

Qualifications

• Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia.
• Programming/activity experience is preferred.
• Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants
• Adopt a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident
• Design and implement creative programming
• Assist in program operation by leading activities and transport residents to and from programs
• Engage in mealtime preparations
• Complete daily attendance records
• Attend in-services and other training to increase job knowledge and skills in working with participants
